Areas We Serve

Every sign we build starts in Greensboro and goes out by truck. The list on this page is the area we cover on a regular basis. Each town has its own page with notes on the roads, the kind of buildings there, and the signs that tend to go up.

Greensboro and Guilford County

Greensboro is home base, so jobs along Battleground Avenue, Gate City Boulevard, High Point Road and around Friendly Center are the shortest drives we make. Inside city limits a freestanding sign goes through the city's review and needs a sign permit, and we put that paperwork together as part of the job. Out in the county the review runs through Guilford County or the town instead. High Point, Jamestown and Pleasant Garden fill out the southern half of the county, and High Point jobs come up often between showrooms, churches and medical offices.

Towns north and west

Summerfield, Oak Ridge, Stokesdale and Browns Summit sit in the fast-growing north and northwest end of the county, where new subdivisions keep asking for brick and stone entrance walls. Kernersville is just over the Forsyth County line along I-40, with business parks and retail strips. Each of these is a short drive from Greensboro, and the ground out there is the same red clay we plan every footing around.

Towns south and east

Jamestown and Archdale sit south toward High Point, with Archdale across the line in Randolph County. Pleasant Garden is the quieter stretch south of Greensboro, where churches and small businesses along the main roads are the usual customers. To the east, Gibsonville and Burlington run along the I-85/I-40 corridor toward Alamance County, with older downtowns and newer commercial strips that both use monument signs.

Outside this list?

Ask anyway. JED Signs is based in Greensboro and builds signs across Guilford County and the nearby Triad towns. Distance mostly changes scheduling, not whether we take the job. Put the address in the quote form, email a photo of the spot to jedsigns101@gmail.com, and we will tell you straight away if it is a drive we make.
